With that being said, if you’re in the process of planning out your itinerary, consider adding some attractions in Pigeon Forge. The city is just a short drive away from our condos. Let us tell you about one of the great activities there. Here is a list of 3 things you need to experience at WonderWorks in Pigeon Forge:

1. Wonder Zones

The Wonder Zones fulfill the attraction’s main goal which is to provide visitors with a combination of education and entertainment. There are 6 in total, and each has a distinct theme with activities to match. Almost all of them cover some area of science. For example, the activities in the Extreme Weather Zone teach visitors about how weather affects humans and the environment around them. Feel the force of a 74 miles per hour hurricane wind and an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 on the Richter scale. Additionally, see how long you can keep your hand in 28℉ water. This was the temperature of the North Atlantic Ocean when the Titanic sank in 1912  Another fun Wonder Zone is the Light and Sound Zone. Dance to music while your moves make a light swirl around and make music with your feet as you walk on a giant piano.

2. Indoor Ropes Course

After exploring the Wonder Zones, conquer the world’s largest indoor ropes course. It is over 50 feet tall and 4 stories high. Visitors won’t have to worry about falling because they are strapped in a harness. The course contains more than 50 different obstacles. Some of these include swinging steps, lily pads, and a tremor bridge. Some may be easier to pass while others may take a few tries. Feel a growing sense of accomplishment as you leave each one behind. If you get discouraged along the way, take a moment to admire the course’s unique glow-in-the-dark theme. The colors and lights resemble a funky disco.

3. 4D Motion Theater

Going to the movies is a popular indoor activity on vacation. WonderWorks in Pigeon Forge makes it even better at the 4D Motion Theater. This is because the audience is in the middle of the action through the use of special effects. For example, the force of a dinosaur’s roar makes your seat vibrate. The seat may move even more as you go on a high-speed chase through the desert or jungle. You may also feel a strong wind on your face along the way. The thrills will leave you on the edge of your seat. There are 3 different films that play on a rotating schedule throughout the day. Each one takes you to an imaginative land and has its own action-packed scenes. It is safe to say that there is no wrong choice.
