1. Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies

With a unique underwater tunnel that let’s you see an assortment of fish and sharks in a pseudo-natural environment, and a brand new glass bottom boat ride over the larger tanks, you’ll definitely have a lot to see and do! 2. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park
Enjoy the beautiful Smoky Mountains firsthand when you visit the national park! You can hike numerous trails in the park, ranging from low difficulty like the Little River Trail to a higher difficulty like Mt. LeConte. You can also visit Cades Cove and have a picnic there after you drive the scenic loop.
3. Sugarlands Riding Stables
If you are interested in horseback riding in the national park, then Sugarlands Riding Stables is the place for you! You and your family can saddle up and ride on a few different trails. You will get to enjoy the same views as you would on foot, but with a bit of a better look thanks to your trusty steed! Keep in mind that you can not double up with children and that riders must be at least 5 years or older.
4. Ripley’s Davy Crockett Mini Golf
Who doesn’t love a family game of mini golf? Ripley’s Davy Crockett Mini Golf is located right on the parkway as you make your way into downtown Gatlinburg. This attraction is one of the best things to do in Gatlinburg in the summer because you can do it at your own pace. The course also has a nice mountain charm to it, so it won’t seem out of place while you are enjoying the course!
5. Gatlinburg Sky Lift
Want to get some great pictures of the mountains and one amazing view? Visit the Gatlinburg Sky Lift! This ski lift type attraction will lift you into the air and gift you with one of the most beautiful views in all of Gatlinburg!
6. Gatlin’s Escape Games
This attraction is great for older kids, especially those that love puzzles! The escape game is an hour long attraction that pits you against the clock to try and escape before time runs out! This attraction will force you to use critical thinking and work as a team to escape.
