1. Whimsical Local Artistry

One of the highlights of the Blooms and Tunes event at Anakeesta is the whimsical local artistry displayed throughout the park, all which celebrate the life and energy of the Great Smoky Mountains in the spring! The fun starts right away at the entrance of the park, where a magnificent 20 foot long blooming daisy welcomes you to the park! Once on the mountain, you’ll find several colorful flower sculptures as well as an oversized paint palette complete with 10 foot tall paint brushes that have been designed specifically for the event! Altogether, there are 29 flower sculptures throughout the park, so be sure to bring your camera along for the adventure!

2. Live Musical Performances

Another reason to attend the Blooms and Tunes event in Gatlinburg is to enjoy some of the awesome live musical performances! The shows take place in the Black Bear Village section of the park and feature the park band as they put the “tunes” into the event! You’ll really feel the spirit of the mountains as the band plays everything from classic bluegrass and mountain fiddling to your favorite country hits! The live music takes place every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so come on out to dance and sing along!

3. Unique Shopping Opportunities

While visiting Anakeesta’s Blooms and Tunes event, explore the park’s Firefly Village for some unique shopping opportunities! The newest retail shop on the mountain is the Watering Can, which is the perfect place to stock up for your spring gardening needs! You can also find a ton of cool spring merchandise and Smoky Mountain souvenirs in the Great Outdoors Trading Company, Catching Fireflies and the Mercantile!

Be sure to arrive hungry at the event because the theme park offers some special spring menus to satisfy your appetite at the Blooms and Tunes event! Anakeesta’s Blooms and Tunes Spring Event Operating Hours and Information

The Blooms and Tunes spring event runs from mid April to early June and operating hours vary per day, so be sure to visit the official operating calendar to plan your trip! The event is included as part of your admission to the theme park, which also includes the live music performances.
