If you love history, then you have to check out The Titanic Museum while you’re in town. Located in Pigeon Forge, you can’t miss the large replica of this historic ship. When you purchase tickets, you’ll receive a boarding pass with the name of an actual Titanic passenger on it. As you make your way through the self-guided tour, you will learn all about the plans for the ship, how it was built, the legacy it had through the movie, and so much more. There are interactive portions of the museum, including being able to sit in a replica of a life boat and trying to walk on the deck at the different angles before the ship sank. 4. Cooter’s Place

If you’re old enough to remember the popularity of “The Dukes of Hazzard” television show, then you’ll be tickled to know there’s a Cooter’s Place in Pigeon Forge. Actor Ben Jones played the part of “Cooter” on the famous show with the 1969 Dodge Charger named the General Lee garnering the spotlight. The museum has many actual souvenirs from the show, with merchandise and collectibles on display and for sale as well.
